Browning and Ellington Hall is a co-ed traditional residential complex and gender specific by floor. The north side of Browning and Ellington Hall houses women, while the south side houses men. Each side houses 264 residents. Bedrooms include built in desks, closets, and beds that require extra-long twin sheets. Kitchen facilities are available in the basements of each hall.

Cooper is home to our Living Learning Communities which house students within the following fields: Criminal Justice, Engineering, Music, Nursing, Pre-Med, or any of the fields within the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences. Additionally, there are Living Learning Communities for Call Me Mister, Global Experience, and Honors. The LLCs are organized by suites: two students per room with anywhere from 6-8 students per suite. Each suite has a furnished common area. Each LLC has a community room with presentation technology, study rooms, and a break room. Kitchen facilities are available in the basement.

University Village Phase I offers apartment style living with two, three, or four bedrooms and is an upperclassmen preference community. These fully furnished apartments include a private bedroom with a private bathroom, full-size height adjustable bed, dresser, desk, study chair, closet, washer and dryer, full size kitchen with appliances, and a balcony. Phase I offers an outdoor recreational area that includes a sand volleyball pit, grill area, and a fire pit.

University Village Phase II offers apartment style living with one, two, three, or four bedrooms. Phase II is a freshman preference facility, meaning that first time freshmen will be given assignment priority for available spaces over upperclassmen. Apartments are furnished with a private bedroom with a shared bath (except for one-bedroom apartments). Bathrooms are shared with one other person and come with two sinks and separate rooms for showers and toilet facilities. Bedrooms come with extra-long twin size beds that are height adjustable, as well as a desk, chair, and additional storage. The common area of the apartment comes with living room furniture, stack unit washer and dryers, two burner stove top, and a refrigerator. Residents with one-bedroom apartments will be assessed an additional private room charge. The grounds area contains two pergolas and an ENO hammock farm.

University Courts is a student and family friendly apartment complex that offers carpeted or tiled one, two, or three-bedroom units. All apartments are furnished with a refrigerator and stove. Internet, cable, and water are included in the monthly rate. Residents are responsible for paying for their electricity. Each apartment has a kitchen, living area, and bathroom. The apartments house a full-time Apartment Manager that is always on-call and available to help.

 

To apply for University Courts, please complete an application on the Housing Portal. For full instruction, follow these steps. There is a required $150 deposit per resident.
