UT Martin Traditions

UTM has a number of events that are traditions at our campus. This list is by no means inclusive of everything but is just designed to highlight a few of these activities.

The Annual All-Sing: Designed as an amateur choral music competition, student organizations sing medley of songs based on themes selected earlier in the year. All-Sing is over a 30 year event at UTM.

UTM Homecoming Week: A week long series of events to promote UTM alumni and friends coming back to campus during the UTM football season. Events include Pyramid, the NPHC Homecoming Stepshow, Ropepull, Quad City, and others.

UTM/MSU Blood Battle: A long standing rivalry goes to help a good cause. Each year Murray State and UTM go head to head to see which campus can donate the most blood to assist Lifeline Blood Services in this area.

UTM Rodeo: Celebrating its 35th birthday in 2003, the UTM Rodeo has become one of the premier collegiate rodeos east of the Mississippi. The rodeo regularly featured cowboys and cowgirls from all over the Ozark Region and as far away as Michigan State. Rodeo weekly typically occurs in early April. UTM Greekfest: A week long celebration of Greek life at UTM. The week consists of a number of competitions between the Greek Organizations including Line Dance and the annual Step Show. Each year a philanthropy is selected as the highlight for the week. Greekfest normally occurs in early February each year.
