The McFerrin Training School was a Methodist preparatory school and college organized in 1889 by the Memphis Conference of Methodist Churches for the City of Martin, Tennessee. The school taught grades 1 through high school and included a junior college and seminary. Changes in academic standards and enrollment declines led to the school's closure in 1923.
