Fisheries Science

Learn to restore and manage healthy aquatic ecosystems.

This program emphasizes basic and applied sciences, aquatic ecology, and communication skills required to be a fisheries professional. You will learn about challenges facing fisheries management around the world as well as the cultural and ethical issues associated with fisheries management. Program graduates are qualified to be certified by the American Fisheries Society as Certified Fisheries Professionals. Field Experience is a major component of this program.
