This is a term policy that expires May 31 of each year. Students needing coverage for June through May can purchase the policy one time. For coverage that extends past May 31, the policy will need to be purchased again as a new term begins June 1.

June 1 is the first day to pay for insurance for the June 1 – May 31 term. Do not pay in May for coverage that begins June 1 or after. If you pay early, it is non-refundable.

The University of Tennessee provides optional professional liability and general liability coverage for student professionals at the Knoxville, Chattanooga, Martin, UTSI, and Health Science Center campuses. In order to obtain this coverage, the student must purchase the Student Professional Liability insurance. The premium is non-refundable.
