Career Planning and Development

Mission

Career Planning and Development (CPAD) supports the personal and professional growth of all University of Tennessee at Martin students in an inclusive environment through comprehensive services to support major and career exploration, job search readiness, employer and professional networking, and advanced education preparation.

  • Services and programs that aid in career decision making.

Multicultural Affairs

Mission

The Office of Multicultural Affairs supports underrepresented students by providing programs and services that enhance their personal, social, educational, and cultural development.

Goal Areas

  • Programming to support retention, progression, and graduation of underrepresented students.
  • Offer an inclusive environment to connect students to each other and campus resources.
  • Collaboration with campus partners to provide programming that enhances multiculturalism across campus.

Mission

Enhance student learning and personal development by creating an educationally purposeful, disciplined, and caring community by offering supporting care in assisting student to overcome obstacles to academic success.

Mission

The Office of Student Life engages students through mentorship, service, and co-curricular activities to prepare them to lead and serve in a diverse world.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the liaison between students and the university administration. SGA provides the opportunity for students to take leadership roles and work directly with university leadership to address student concerns.

Flight Crew

Flight Crew is a group of students employed by the Dean of Students to assist in the development of campus activity programming. Annually, Flight Crew plans and executes programming for students to include entertainment and student engagement activities.
