Argos is a reporting tool designed to allow faculty and staff the ability to generate data without requesting reports from IT. The list of available reports contains a range of current and historical data including demographic, contact, and curriculum. Need access to Argos to build reports? Complete a Banner access request to gain access to necessary tables and request Argos access.

If needed, please download these scores and reports in PDF format before the end date.

How to Generate Bubble Sheets for Finals

Akindi is the web-based assessment system that is available for all UTM faculty. Instructors can generate bubble sheets that can be printed on plain paper and scanned into the system using any scanner. The grading process interfaces with Canvas. To learn more, check out Akindi's 'Getting Started' walk-through for new users. If you have any questions, reach out to the Help Desk.

Canvas Gradebook: Accurate Calculations

Before posting final grades in Banner, check these issues to ensure accurate calculations in your Canvas Gradebooks.

  • Verify that your grading scale in the syllabus matches the grading scale in your Canvas Gradebook.
  • Enter a grade for every cell in the Gradebook. Leaving a cell blank will result in a miscalculation of the final grade.
  • If you want to excuse a student from an assignment, enter EX (i.e., Excused) in the corresponding Gradebook cell to remove the assignment from the final grade calculation.

ITC Training: Question Banks, Proctorio & SharePoint

In anticipation of finals, the ITC will offer training on building Question Banks with Akindi, Proctorio Secure Exam Proctor, and the Canvas Quiz Tool. UTM staff members may also be interested in a refresher session on SharePoint. Please log in to the ITC's Runway site to review the schedule and register for a session. All sessions will be facilitated on Zoom. Please contact the ITC if you have course-specific questions at itc@utm.edu.
